Interesting Raised mark on 1971 D Reverse

Post by Stew » Fri Sep 28, 2012 9:36 am

Not quite sure what this might be. In looking at an Ike overlay I could not find what may
have caused this to be a clashed die at the wing tip. Possibly a dent in the die ?? Not sure.

Ahh The chilly wind comes down from Canada and the desk gets cleared for another season
of coins. I love this time of year

P.S another close look and I found the same type of raised mark running under the second "U"
of UNUM
