1977D Question

Post by jprine » Wed Dec 10, 2014 1:28 pm

Can someone tell me what the 1977D 7D-201 and 7D-701 is? They are listed in the attribution guide, but no explanation is given. Thanks!

7D-201 = peg leg 77D (the 200 series component in the DIVa catalogue indicates peg leg varieties)

7D-701 = silver planchet 77D

We have to get photos uploaded. Andy, you ready to get back on the horse? I'm ready to ride.

Now then, the links for those two have been restored. Sorry for their absence.

Admittedly the 77D peg leg is NOT one I've ever been a big fan of/convinced it's a true peg leg by my purist peg leg definition, however, my cohort has convinced me they exist.

If anyone's got a better and more "true" form 77D peg leg, we'll put it in.

I feel like just broke through a tunnel cave-in to reveal daylight after an eternity of pure blackness. I'm motivated. Speaking of motivational...

...and maybe not exactly anything to do with Ikes besides that it coincides with their minting era, but yes...you may have another:
