I have been interested in Ikes for a long time, but now just got to here.

I inherited a 1971 S Silver Clad Proof originally from Littleton in a plastic bar-coded rectangle.

It has a lot of hazing on the devises, but not as much on the fields.

What should I do with it? Leave it alone? 2x2 it? Have it conserved? Sell it?
What?

It doesn't look so good, see for your self?

It does not appear to be a DIVa, so it is not worth conservation / restoration through a TPG.
That leaves either throw it in the melt silver box, or do a DIY restoration for the purpose of album/2x2collection/sale.
