I have a list of about 5-6 new DIVa Ikes to write up. I'm starting with the 1SB-303 and 1SB-304, so that I can return Andy's coins (that held for far too long). Retirement = time for my Ike research and writing!

I'm sure it will be thorough, and I forgot to mention the ' nest of eggs ' ... R

I have another one but cannot get photo's until I get a new camera.... similar to the crater snake but I'd call it ' escaped nightcrawler ' , it is a 71SP flared pl with a nice worm like squiggly line between the E O in ONE DOLLAR , and doesn't look like a struck thru. ANACS holder PF68 DCAM.

Off Denomination find tonight 1997 1 Oz BU Maple Leaf..I didn't see this for weeks(I had 50 graded at NGC), found it looking for blemishes and such, for reduced price ebay sales.
Just wanted to share the "Crawler", as he DOES seem to get around a lot!
Pop 1 that I know of..feel free to chime in.

So does anyone have an fairly accurate count ? I have found 9 and am currently in possession of 3. 1 - PR68DCAM and 2 - PR69DCAM's . The 3 were from 1 lot of 14.

I just wanted to share a quick update that I recently purchased my second Nightcrawler from Brian (PCGS PR68CAM). Both of mine have the red DIVA sticker, which means they are not included in the official DIVa Pop Report, but at least they can be accounted for here. Thanks again, Brian. I appreciate your help! :D

Glad you are happy with it! they were pretty hard on it grade-wise. Looks more DCAM to me than your other one that got certified DCAM!
Oh well, we all know how fluctuating TPG's can be with Proof grading. Main thing is the Variety not the grade on the plastic. Unfortunately, that doesn't fly very far these days.

I don't see why an easily verified Ike Dollar with a picture (Like a Night Crawler or FEV) with a first generation DIVA sticker, couldn't somehow be added to The Ike Group's Pop report through a couple of emails with pics and serial number included. It would save a lot of time and expense
as well as take away the obvious risk of shipping sometimes extremely valuable coins from getting damaged, lost or stolen.

Perhaps some one can come up with a solution for that? It would also make for a much more accurate DIVA Population Report.

Contact me for getting official DIVa stickers and adding to the population report.

Looks like we have 13 listed currently, but I would venture to say the real number is more like 50+. A number of these have sold as raw or un-DIVa'd on eBay, and I know several folks who are sitting on a bunch of them. The demand for these is a very limited group, and I would say the market is saturated now as those who want one have one.

If Whitman ever does another CPG edition (which it seems they are not...), and this coin would get in, then I think there would be a brief 1 year or so resurgence in demand, but I would not expect it to last long.
