Here's a PR69DCAM that sold for........ $13,750. Probably an outlier, but still.....

Thanks. Obviously I was extremely fortunate to find it. One of the worst parts is I didn't even technically cherry pick it, I bought for ~3% under melt value (paid $5.00) and didn't realize what I had until I got it home.

The coin is headed for the FUN auction with Heritage in January. Maybe it will go super cheap and you'll be able to pick it up in your price range. The link you listed for the 69DCAM from is, to state the obvious, a DCAM whereas my example is only a CAM so it's a lesser regarded coin. Good luck in your search.

This coin is now listed for sale in the Jan 3rd-8th Heritage FUN auction. Oddly enough there is also another FS-801, that one being a PF69DCAM for sale in the same auction. Not sure if 2 of them together helps or hurts the cause but either way we're 6 week away from finding out. I'll put a post in the buy, sell, trade with more details and a link if I can figure out how. Thanks.
