Incredible! In-effing-credible!

What irks me the most is that my MS65's are far better than this but are stuck at MS65.

Looks like a sintered planchet!

I cannot help but wonder WTF goes on in the grading room? Is Mitch really sending all this crap in on a bulk submission?
Lots and Lots of over graded crap and we can't get anything? WTF is wrong with this picture?

Wow.

WOW!!!

That is bad. The sad part is, there's some label buying bidiot out there who will eventually buy this thing for the label.

Or, perhaps not: the market is so wrecked from these last 2 years by the absolute horrific grading on Ikes, that it's beyond saturated with this stuff.

That coin is a MS64 on a good day after chugging a bottle of whiskey. I seriously would not put that past MS63. A Peace dollar with those kinds of marks and scrapes would not go past 63....why should an Ike?

Value: literally $2.50. I'm absolutely serious about that.

The grade comparison is just amazing. Thanks
The 1978 MS-65 looks to be twice the coin at least, very clean and
the 1972 MS-66 is just a over-graded Ike with bag marks.

Just checked the PCGS Data base and the coin at GC is a little different then coin PCGS Certified. If I looked at it correctly. I could have just looked at the PCGS Coin Facts coin and Not the actual graded coin.

This link seems to get you to PCGS's picture and It looks cleaner and some of the contact marks are present but not all.
Above the Eye and on the temple the marks are there but not on the back of the neck.
