Yeah, I'd say $3,000 return for a 71-S Ike bought below Silver spot price, in a melted plastic holder, is pretty dang good!
He asked me what I would do with it if it was mine...I said: Clean it, submit to PCGS, then off to Heritage FUN Auction.
However, he'd never de-hazed a proof Ike or sent one in for grading.
I'm very happy for him and glad to have been able to help! :D
