I bought this 1971-D today at my local coin shop for $2.15. It appears to be DDR, although I have limited collecting experience and am not sure. Is this part of a specific variety? Is it even DDR?
Images attached. Sorry if the image quality is low... I'm not so good on photographing coins.
Also, can you spare a grade?

The pictures are kind of fuzzy, but It looks like you have plain old mechanical doubling.
Reverse look decent. What about the obverse?

Yeah, certainly mechanical doubling. I didn't even know that was different than doubled-die. (Told you I was new!)AOskam wrote:The pictures are kind of fuzzy, but It looks like you have plain old mechanical doubling.

The obverse looks similar to the reverse... probably not worth photographing.
Oh well, for $2.15, it wasn't a bad deal! It looks to be uncirculated.
