72-SP FS-101?

Post by Prime Mover » Fri Feb 28, 2014 9:38 pm

So, I was looking through some 1972 Silver proofs and came across this one. I was comparing it to Lee's pics from his thread (http://forum2.ikegroup.info/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=855) and to me it looks like it has all the right markings. Anyone want to chime in on this?

I'm trying to find the scratch by the ear, will try to get that next.

Well, finally have an update - confirmed!

http://www.pcgs.com/Cert/29639510.html

On its way back from PCGS now. I'm happy it got the DCAM designation, was hoping for at least one point higher. But, hey, I can't complain, the entry cost of about $12 is hard to beat... :)

Thanks Andy for weighing in on this and helping identify it.

Now, to submit those possible FS-106's and see what happens...

Great score. The ddo's are out there, we just have to be patient and look at everything.
Back to the Hunt...
