6D1-201 ?

These Peg Legs were created by the polishing (or abrading) done to the area between Ike's head and the "R" on the working or master dies.

I picked this up today at the Rossville coin show. It looks almost like 'off at the Kees' when looking at the R. But the FG appears strong ?

I have not done MMP lies on these yet. It may or may not be that there is more than just one die that turned into an OAK peg leg.

Thanks Steve, I'm just putting together a binder of peg legs. Trying to sort them by design variety vs. altered die state.

Very cool! I've done the same, and see it as a great area of Ike variety collecting. I am currently working on a book about the Ike peg legs. In it, I'll identify all of them by MMP and other die markers (based on perhaps a 1000 peg leg examples across the series). Here is my Peg Leg Ike Showcase set, which has not been fully populated with all of the die representatives.

Nice, I bookmarked your Showcase set. That's going to be a helpful reference tool. In the meantime, I'll patiently wait for the book.

Thanks Again!
