Raleigh money show

Post by daviscfad » Mon Jun 27, 2016 10:39 pm

I was able to find a 74s clad EB, and a 74s silver EB.. pretty exciting.. other than that, i picked up a hammered 77s and a nice dcam 78s, which most are. A 73s proof for 10, woo ho! A clean 72s and a couple clean 71s business strikes

Hello - Please help an old dog out with what "EB" means? Thanks!

Nahhh. I went friday and looked for bullion deals, then on sunday searched out some ikes.. it was really slow this year.. probably more dealers then normal, because its becoming a big show.. i would say participation was down by 50%..

Oddly enough, I did the exact same. Blew through like a hurricane Friday, but you must have beat me to those Eskimo's. Went back Sunday really late as most were packing up.

I did get two really interesting pickups that I'll have to post. One is a crazy strike-thru and the second I cant really describe except that it's a blue pack Ike still in OGP with a cut in the planchet.....very weird. I'll try and post later tonight.

Good to hear there are at least a couple Ike nuts in and around Raleigh.
