Struggling with Peg legs

Post by cheerful16 » Thu Jan 15, 2015 4:03 pm

Hey all,
I am struggling to ID peg legs, since they seem to vary a bit in degree. I think I could spot a fade, but straight/Eskimo Boot legs can seemingly be pseudo-serifed. Hence, I thought I'd ask for Ike people's input.

I'd appreciate any expertise and guidance you may have, as I am relatively new at this.
See pictures and throw me a yes/no for 1-7.
Thank you!

1-6 are a no. #7 looks possible.

It can be helpful to turn the Ike upside down and look again at the foot of the R. We are generally looking for no serifs at the foot, and flare that does not exceed the width of the "leg" further up on the R. For an eskimo boot, look for no serif / no flare on the left side of the foot of the R.

Here are some other photos to look at in my peg leg showcase set.
