Beautiful looking coin.

That weight is absolutely normal and not uncommon for a business strike Ike. It's definitely CuNi.

The Type 1 and Type 2 1976 coins are inverse of each other in realtion to obverse and reverse relief heights. The Type 2 with it's high relief reverse is one of my favorites.

Depends on your definition of "special".
I still have a couple of nice Ikes my Grandmother left me. They weren't good enough to send in and get slabbed, but I put a sticker on their case (they were Silver Brown Ikes) that designated them as from her. They are very special to me. Yours has a beautiful reverse, but to many marks on the obverse to be worth sending in, unless you just want it in a protective slab to put a sticker on it saying it was from her.

Happy Hunting!
Brian
